Silver Lunar Coin Trading
 

Because of the high prices being commanded on ebay right now for these coins, I thought we could set up a mini exchange for those able to trade and deal in straight swaps.

I have:
1 oz - Tiger, Mouse & Ox
2 oz - Pig, Ox, Mouse & Dog available to trade as well as a kilo Tiger and various sizes of the Lunar Series II mouse.

What I'm looking for are 1 oz and 2 oz Silver coins i.e. Dragon, Monkey, Sheep, Horse, Rooster, Rabbit.

Anyone who also has rolls of Silver Lunar coins available let me know as I do as well and perhaps we can both get new rolls of coins we don't have.

What say you lunar lovers?

When I get more money (always that money thing) I plan to buy more Silver Lunars. I would like to put together a 2 ounce set and buy some 10 ounce coins.

I just need the pig and rooster in 1 oz. I have everything else in doubles or triplicate except goat.

I don't really have any up for trade right now. I can say though that I do have some extra 1 ouncers though. I may consider a trade for something I don't have like a 2 ouncer or whatnot. I would have to look at what I have, I may have what you need but I am not sure.

A while back I thought about building a website dedicated to collecting Lunars. I even developed my own personal price guide I used for buying on the 1 ouncers.

I'll have to do an inventory but I'm pretty sure that I'm short of 1 oz rabbits and have extras of several others.

I have a one ounce and two ounce complete set, I love the two ouncers! Have extra ox, tiger and rat like others here.

Any thoughts on the new set? Many here were pissed off at them for rushing out the last few and dropping the larger sizes. Anyone buying the new lunars?

I'm slowly putting together a full silver dog set, if anyone knows of a place I can find the 1/2 kilo (plain old BU) let me know... the rest are easy to find.

Yes, the painted ones are easier to find, but I consider that graffiti... there are more creative ways to deface a coin :)
